About: I have thrived in the ocean for as long as I can remember. From a very early age, salt water has run through my veins. My competitive spirit arrived soon after, and I began competing in local shortboard and longboard surfing events by age 10. My love for the ocean continued to grow when I moved to Oahu to further my education at the University of Hawaii.
Mentored by some of the greatest watermen in the world, I was eventually introduced to stand-up paddling. It wasn’t long before I became the first woman to beat the men in a professional SUP surfing event at the 2008 Duke Kahanamoku Oceanfest, winning both the women’s division and Open Pro division.
Most importantly, my relationship with and love for Jesus has been the ever-burning fuel for my fire, and I see my athletic talents and accomplishments as tools for God’s glory. As I travel the world competing, I use my sport to share the truth about Jesus.
